Just built PC but not working
Hi, I just finished building my new PC. The (important) parts I used were: HAF 932 Case Phenom II x4 955 Black Edition Nvidea GTX285 4gb (2x2gb) kit of G.skill 1333 DDR3 7.7.7.18 RAM Thermaltake Evo blue gaming PSU ASUS M47A9T-Deluxe Mobo Everything is connected correctly - we set it up with just the basic graphics card (2 six-to-eight pin cables, 6 pin ends in the card and eight pin ends in the PSU), mobo (24 pin connecter and 8 pin connector), the processor and stock fan, the ram, and the power button connected. We keep getting the same problem however - at first it would just turn on for about a quarter of a second (PSU LED lit up, all fans started), then turned off. The mobo lights though (the power and reset buttons) stayed lit up. After tinkering trying to fix it by clearing CMOS, pulling everything apart and putting it back together, and swapping the jumper cable and ram positions. I don't know what it is?? Everything should be compatible...plz help

I have a Sony Vaio Laptop and I want to play The Sims 3 on it. I done the "Can you RUN IT?" test and it said my laptop failed to meet the minimum requirements I needed to play the game! I failed on 3 things - 1. CPU - Minimum: (XP) 2.0 GHz P4 processor or equivalent; (Vista) 2.4 GHz P4 processor or equivalent [If built-in graphics chipsets then 2.6 GHz Pentium D CPU, or 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo, or equivalent]. You Have: 2 processors running - Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2130 @ 1.86GHz 2. CPU speed - Minimum: (XP) 2.0 GHz P4 processor or equivalent; (Vista) 2.4 GHz P4 processor or equivalent [If built-in graphics chipsets then 2.6 GHz Pentium D CPU, or 1.8 GHz Core 2 Duo, or equivalent.] You Have: 1.86 GHz 3.
