Should the Houston Astros hire Ben Sheets
Pitcher Ben Sheets was a Brewer in 2008 and started the All-Star Game for the National League. He is without a team.
The Astros, with Oswalt being hurt and run support missing (Lance Berkman), the Astros need a starter. Also, even with Oswalt, the pitching staff is thin.
The Astros would probably end up having to pay him $10 million for a full season, but they'd make it back in ticket money. Why?
1. People would love to see Ben Sheets pitch.
2. The Astros would be a better team, drawing more fans.

Does everyone STILL think that Ben Gordon was the reason why the Bulls took Boston to 7
Yeah, i'm still on this. Only because people [Rafa Nadal] keep bringing it up. I would like to throw out some facts out there.
The 4 games that the Bulls lost Ben Gordon averaged 29 PPG. Pretty good huh? Well except for the fact that we lost all 4 of those games.
The 3 games the Bulls won, BG averaged 18 PPG. Now tell me, if BEn Gordon was the reason why we played so well against Boston, then why is it that when he scored more points, we lost, but when he scored less, we won?
Game 1. Gordon- 35% shooting. 20 Points 5 assists. We win.
Game 2. Gordon-58% shooting 42 points 0 assists. We lose
Game 3. Gordon-39% shooting 15 points 1 assist. We lose
Game 4. Gordon-45% shooting 22 points 1 assist we win.
Game 5. Gordon-29% shooting 26 points 6 assists we lose
Game 6. Gordon-29% shooting 12 points 4 assists. We win.

Rob K- Yes neither Rose or Gordon played great D that series. But a high percentage of Rondo's assists were to Allen, the man Gordon was guarding. Also Rondo only averaged 16 PPG while Allen averaged 24 PPG and hit numerous clutch shots on BG.
If gordon shared the ball in the games that we lost, then we may have won.
Rafa Nadal- Actually KONJ asked a Q eithe yesterday or 2 days ago that asked which performance was better between Rose or MJ, and you answered "Gordons whole series against the Celtics" That isn't bringing it up?

flirting in the workplace PLEASE READ
okay, im 19 and i work at ben and jerrys.
there is this girl i work with named ashley, who is also 19, and im having a real hard time getting a read on if she "likes me likes me" or not. or at least if she thinks im cute, and is sorta flirting with me, cuz i dont know
the last time we worked, it wasnt busy at all, and it wuz just us two working, and we talked about school, music, annoying people at work, etc., and then she asked how my summers going or somethign, and sed something like "... any girls??", and i said "nope".... im assuming she meant do i have a girlfriend but wutever.
and yesterday ashley and i were working again, just us two and we were pretty bored b/c nobody was coming in, so she asked if i wanted to play cards, so we played for about off and on for a half hour.
i could sense maybe a little bit of flirting wen the customers left, who interrupted our card game, and wen they left ,ashley said, "wanna play again loser" in a jokingly way. we then played for a little bit more.
an hour later, this other kid, jack came into work. and she talked to him about as much as she did to me. i didnt really see her flirting with jack at all, they just talked as friends, and no real joking around or anything.
wen our night shifts ended and we left the store, i was waiting for my ride, and ashley and jack were getting in their cars to drive home, and ashley said, "do you want me to wait with you?" i said no its fine, and she said "are you sure??" i again said no its fine. its a policy that, since shes the assistant manager, that they are liable if anything happens to me.
anyways, she left, and 15 minutes pass and my ride didnt come. so i called her and asked her to pick me up, and she said "danny, that is not a problem, of course i'll pick you up!"
she is a really nice and caring person. so ya, she drove me home, which took like 10 or so minutes and we just talked about work and concerts/music. she dropped me off and i said "thank you very much"
she replied with "no problem, i'll see you later."
im not conceited at all, but im a pretty handsome lookin' dude, and shes very good looking herself
she doesnt have a boyfriend, and i work with her again later this week, with the exact same hours as last time for both of us.
so, what do you think?? is she just being nice/friendly, or does she like me more than a friend??
