Warcraft 3 III Heroes LAN Battlenet Beastmaster
I was playing this game for the first time at my friends house, and when we were playing together (LOCAL AREA NETWORK), I picked my hero (Beastmaster) and then played, fighting off the monsters and other things that would come. I recently bought the game myself, went on LAN, but when I tried to play, it didn't start with the screen it usually did. They also had a map called X siege 3.30 a game, and I want that. I have both frozen throne and reign of chaos. I just want to play computer, leveling my hero (to 30 with special events and stuff buying new stuuff andya...and fighting against the other bad people. I have tried building my own army and stuff but that wasn't fun... I want to be able to start as a hero and get new attacks and stuff and play against someone or with someone. (by myself is okay as well) I just would like the download for the certain x seige 3.30, and play against the monsters. No Battle.net, If anyone has tips for playing the game (being called a noob on battlenet---no fun...) please help. Thanks

Fun LAN games to play
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good multiplayer game to play on a LAN network? I have a very fast PC, and the other one is not so fast (old pentium 4). I am looking for just a fun multi-player game that's not too demanding but everything I come across on the internet seems to be too heavy for my slower PC.

what is a good LAN computer game that i can
install at my office so i can have the employees stay late on Saturdays and play if they want to while eating pizza. I have 20 employees and all of our computers are networked. We do not however have an in house server. Here's the thing. I don't necessarily want it to promote violence, bloodshed and crap like that, so things like half life and other first person shooters probably aren't good. Some of the women wouldn't necessarily have fun playing it, and our younger employees would dominate everyone else. so that's not good. I want to do this for a few reasons. For one, to promote team building, for two, to give my people a break and some fun to look forward to at the end of the week, as well as a reward for working so damned hard, as well as to promote a fun work environment. I mean think about it. How many of your bosses let you play video games at work while eating pizza they bought you.?

How to stop lag in left 4 dead
I know its not my internet connection as much as the configuration or hardware in my computer ( i think?). Anyways, how can i stop the lag in my computer? Its a Toshiba a215-s4697. spec may be found here. My computer has the minimum requirements to play the game. I've even upgraded my ram to 2.4 GB and the lag is not any better.
