Do you think its smart to buy a Wii just so I can hack it
Hey, I was interested in getting a next gen console. I would get a Ps3 but they are too expensive right now and CAN NOT be modded. So when a new game comes out that's like $60 out my pocket.
I would get a 360 because it CAN BE MODDED but the way my internet is set up I would have to buy the wifi adapter for it which is $100, plus paying about $20 to get it modded and then another 60 for 1 year of online. Depending on wich xbox model I got it would reach up to $480+ ( though I do have 2 360 games already)
Now If I got a wii, it has built in wifi, and free online which is a big plus for me. The type of hack that im looking for is to just play backed up/burnt games that's it. Not anything super fancy. Do you think it's worth it? I'm 14 years old and the only down side I could see is, if the games suck.. Are they good? I like shooters, plat-formers , action, adventure, some fighting games. I heard Mario Kart Wii is also cool.

I have seen one running on an ibook before... i have the original game cartridge... but the one i saw running on the ibook had amazing graphics, EXACT same layout... but Very good graphics and 3d shading but still a 2d game.

Something that I can download and design my own levels with and then play on them. Like something that I can make a whole game with. It can either be the original Mario or Super Mario. And I would prefer if I was free and had no viruses.

Should I get Super Mario 64 from the Wii Shop
I'm thinking of getting it but I have to know stuff about it first.
1. Is it a very good game?
2. How hard is it?
3. How long is it?
4. Can you free roam in it?
5. Does the game make you start over after you beat it?
6. If it does not start over, can you free roam still?
7. Last question: is the free roam fun?

Consider a video game. There are different types.. some which you follow a strict path, accomplish objectives, and that have an ending...(eg Super Mario)
other video games are an ever expanding world where you're free to roam around and do what you please, no endings, and accomplishing goals is not a requirement (eg World of Warcraft)
