I just saw this on an answer and had to repost it as it really made me laugh
"You are very much mistaken. Football, or Soccer as the Americans call it, is very big business indeed in the USA. There are more Soccer fans in the USA than in both Europe and South America combined - it's not a joke, it's true. Also the US Olympic football team is very serious indeed and will undoubtedly take Gold at the London Games in 2012." Yeah - good one. I know, this is a bit bitchy of me, but come on, admit it, it's really funny!

Could sailing make my olympic dream come true
I'm a 14 year old girl, ever since I can remember my dream was to compete at the olympic games, it might seem dumb but I don't know what sport to compete in... When I was little, I excealed at most sports, I would go to state levels(athletics), even national level(judo), I would get age champion but the problem was, I would get bored and change sport. Now it is getting harder to win due to the fact I change sport all the time(I try it, train hard, win and go look somewhere else...) and that the other girls train in one specific sport. (This has happen for at least a dozen sports) I've had this crazy thought... What if I tried sailing and didn't change for once? Both my parents sailed, my dad still sails(he's a skipper). My second name is Oceane because I was concieved on the atlantic ocean. So I ve got it in my blood. The problem is half the year I wouldn't be able to sail because we don't own a boat. I really need your help, about what you have to do to exceal in the sailing world... Thanks to those who read it all...
