What to expect from online friends
After you play online (for example Xbox Live) for a while you probably make some good friends. I have, and I look and realize that these are people that live thousands of miles away, and I will probably never meet. Yet, I consider them good friends. But really, I wonder if online gaming has become a safe haven for people to make friends, and many end up getting attached, yet I can't say if it is a good or bad thing. There are several ways of looking at this; Is it nice to have friends, knowing that it is all predicated on a sort-of facade--they are people you talk to often, but will probably never impact your life in a significant way... Alternatively, one could argue that it is a complete waste of time to make friends online... a bit cynical perhaps? Sure. But at the same time it does hold some truth. Or maybe... It just is: These are people whom you chat with, play games with, etc. Just enjoy the ride... since it will ultimately not last.

What computerinternet games might I like
I really like the following games and games like them. Ya know, real life games? Even some sorts of role playing is okay. Animal Crossing - LOVE THIS GAME! Harvest moon - This game is pretty cool too. I like being able to talk to the people around town and plant whatever I want, and have animals. Avatar Prom - Cute, like I said I like having options Trendetta- I only like this game cause I get to pick what trend I can play for. Farmville- Cute Farmtown- Cute, but a lot of work Pet Society - Love this game. Like to dress my pet and decorate my house the way I like. As you can see I like to dress and decorate my own way. Here comes my real question. What games for Nintendo DS would I like? What games ONLINE for FREE would I like? What computer games would I like? Thanks a ton for any REAL replys.

How do I start life afresh
I've been a hardcore gamer for as long as I can remember, and I'm surrounded by a gaming community. (Right now, it's World of Warcraft.) Recently, I've been wanting to do some more meaningful stuff, but it's just so hard; it's like starting life afresh. All the people I'm close to now are avid gamers. The rest of my friends from my school days, I've lost contact with, since I was in a different 'clique' from them. My current clique have been with me since secondary school, and they are by no means bad people, but I just want to try living life differently. Whenever I ask them if they wanna hang out (or something), they just outright reject me and question why I rather not just play WoW, during which, I just give in and decide to hang out with them online. I liken this dilemma to a mid-life career switch. What can I do to make this change easier? What can I do to maybe make some new friends? What can I do to fix up my life? Whatever I do, it's probably going to be nearly impossible to find a group of friends whom I can feel as close to as the people I mentioned earlier. They're really great friends, but I simply want to enter a new phase of life, and I don't know how to start.

Why do YOU think people bullyact cool on Online Games
After a while me and my friends took a research in our sociology class about this question. We played several online games and do teamspeak and vent ( but not often as serious gamers ). We thought of these answers. Can you contribute more and why? 1.) They're physically safe - People do these things because they know they can get away with it 2.) They had a sh**tastic life and want to make more people to experience 3.) They're simply bored and need to do something ( we've seen it ) 4.) To make themselves feel better about themselves 5.) Get frustrated at the person in their party and had to take it out on someone 6.) Personal problems leads to anger getting released in a computer game We think that there is no official age group range of this bullying nor RACE... ( I guess some consider race to be a problem because the top MMO's International ) Please answer to this survey. Also.. tell what GAME this is occuring.
