How to discipline a 16 month old
I have a 16 month old girl, she is actually quite well behaved most of the time, however she is starting to do really dangerous things like throwing heavy objects around and trying to pull the TV over. I'm trying to find ways of making her understand it's wrong and naughty but nothing seems to be working. I've tried distracting her, getting to her level and speaking to her sternly, tapping her hand and removing her from the room. Everything I do to tell her off she thinks is a game and laughs at me. It's difficult at her age when she isn't quite old enough to understand properly but does have some awareness that I don't want her to do it. Any mums want to offer their advice? Thank you just needed to say the house has been childproofed since day one, everything is stuck down, locked in, gated and secured, so no cause for alarm. Just need advise on the behavior, thanks.

6 year old son and his playmate immitating inappropriately childish adult behaviour Where do I even begin
A couple of months ago my 6 year old junior walked into the bathroom and watched my wife and I giving each other the goldenshowers in the bathtub. We were completely unaware and we were giggling like very naughty kids; I believe that he thought it was some grown up fun and games. Anyway, we fixed this by buying him video games in the hopes of distracting him away from what he saw. We didn't hear him say anything about what he saw nor did he ask anything about it. My wife and I thought that the video game distraction did the trick. so we breathed a huge sigh of relief. A few days ago, one of our neighbors (mother of junior's playmate) put a note on my windshield. The note was about Junior urinating on her five year old daughter and the other way around too. The girl's parents caught them in the act. The note also mentioned that according to her daughter, they have been doing such activities for several weeks now and that they both think that this is what grown ups do. Anyway, the girl's parents wants to have a face to face talk with my wife and I about this problem about how we, the adults in these kids' life can do something about this behaviour. I am so embarrased and so is my wife. How do I approach this issue with Junior? My wife thinks that he is too young for an explanation; I think that I should tell him to forget about all these and that we will explain everything about it when he is in his teens. Did any parent here ever had this kind of embarassing situation? What did you do?
