Why are my Wii virtual console games not working
I am suddenly having a problem whenever I try to play any of my virtual console games that I have downloaded on my Wii. Whenever I try to play them, the screen goes black and "invalid format" flashes on the screen. I haven't physically changed anything with my TV (46 inch LG LCD) or my Wii. The only thing that I believe was done was the system performed some sort of an update when we got the Wii Sports Resort game. After that, I was unable to play any of my VC games, and I have quite a few! All of our regular Wii and Gamecube games play perfectly fine on it. It's just the virtual console games that are giving this invalid format error. This is so frustrating! Does anyone know how to fix this?

how do you download a game save onto your ps3
I found a game save for mlb 09 the show that i want to use. But i dont know how to get it from the computer to the ps3. i tried using a flash drive but when i went into the save data utility thing it said there was nothing saved on the drive. idk

What video game would make for the best lessons on freedom
I'm a teacher and I'm designing some lessons around the concept of freedom. I'd like to teach this using a video game (preferably a free flash-based web game, but I could also try something that the students need to purchase and/or download).
I need a video game in which:
1) The students can have avatars that can take fairly varied actions. They should be able to walk around, talk to each other, and manipulate the environment in simple ways.
2) As the teacher, I can manipulate the total environment a little - set up situations in which they have to make choices. Essentially, I want to be the Dungeon master/Lawnmower man/God.
3) Preferably, an environment closed to the outside (maybe by invite only), so it's just me and my class in this virtual world.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Do Second Life or the Sims meet the above three criteria? Are there any web-based games/environments that might work?

Why dont PC games load on my computer
I just installed flash player 10, the computer specs are above the games I play, and the game company screen things show up just fine but when it reaches the actual game menu nothing shows up excepts for random color blocks, like everything was stripped off the graphics on the first page. How can I fix this? is there anything I can download?

Problem with ssvagentexe
The problem is this. Whenever I open a tab, I get the message C:\PROGRA~1\Java\jre6\bin\ssvagent.exe pop up saying I don't have permissions to access the item. After i click okay, it goes away and I can continue. But when I try to download something (I have a download manager, but i've been using it for months) it doesn't ask to open the download manager, and goes straight to the save, open and cancel box. If I click on open or save the box dissapears. I am using a Toshiba Portege with Vista loaded on. About an hour before the problems struck, I had been on the website of a game (dead space) and it asked to install Macromedia flash player or something like that version 10. Problems struck after that incident. Thanks in advance.

In gaming terms what is a Rom Sega games on comp
I don't mean ROM as in Read Only Memory on your computer...
I'm asking in terms of the Roms on the same websites as emulators. I'm not sure if it's meant to be the games or if you need one to be able to play games from an older console.
What I'm trying to do is to find out how to allow my friend to play Sega Megadrive (I think it's also called Sega Genesis?) games on her computer rather than the same games via flash etc on the internet.
I've had DOS games playing on my computer via the DOSbox emulator and downloading files form www.dosgames.com so would the procedure for Sega games be any different? Is the Rom some sort of converter because Sega games were platform games rather than computer games?
If anyone knows where I could download Alex the Kid from, that would be great too.
