I went in the bathroom and they just walk right in. I tell them to get out. That's the end of that right? I haven't play COD WAW in 2 days so I decide to play it. I look its gone. I checked it and I remember I left it in the Cd holder. Supposedly they find their game the same day I lose mine. Its mine. you can do what ever you like hide what ever. I will always know whats mine. I happen to be... well I memorize every single detail. Now I know some of you will say "Oh revenge is not the way DON'T DO IT. I just want pay back. That was my property, and I am tired of them barging in my house whenever they want I don't know why I don't lock the door. My point is I want to mess up his Cd so bad he won't be able to play even with Microsoft's help (Just an Exaggeration) OMG i can just see him smiling every time I ask. How would I make a high capacity Solar Generator
I want to make a solar generator for my apartment. I'm aiming for something that can put out about 400-600 watts for 20 hours a day, everyday. I plan on running everything electric through this, and I know all about how most things don't use electricity when they are off but I'm asking because most of my appliances are always on. I'm using an old refrigerator that is broken or something because it ALWAYS runs(and its not because the knob is turned all the way up or because I have the door open all the time cuz its not), my TV is on for about 20 hours while I watch CNN, play video games, or watch movies, fish tanks that use water pumps, lizard tanks that use heaters and lights, fans and 2 window air conditioners are running 24/7, you get the picture. For the last 2 bill cycles my electric bill was around $270 both times and I'm really trying to eliminate that. I'm not looking for answers like "get a new refrigerator," or "switch to energy efficient appliances," I AM GOING TO BUILD THIS AND I NEED TO KNOW HOW. The way I envision it, I imagine the solar panels hanging outside of the window catching some sun, a sort of box thing which makes all the magic between the solar panels and the battery and such distributing out all the electricity to my stuff, and me sitting safely around my house working or playing video games or what have you all the while basking in the free electricity with the help of the geniuses here on yahoo. I kinda have the jist down, solar panels get wired in series to a deep cycle battery (or 2), but past there I'm blank. Regulators, inverters, wire and plug types I'm completely lost with. So here are my questions: 1. What do I need to get (assuming I have nothing and please make this so a 5 year old could understand) 2. How would I put it all together 3. What could I do to make it so it doesn't overload/blow up/kill me and burn down my apartment? I have a somewhat shallow understanding of electricity, ohms, amps, volts, how alternators work and i know how to solder, but all this to me is like catching a lephrecaun, i know its out there but I don't know how to connect it all. hey my names nick and I'm looking for that sweet, amazing girl. let me tell you about myself...*ahem* well I'm far from normal. Im at my wits end with my teenage daughter
Hello again, I have posted a question before but I'd like some solid advice. My daughter does not like anyone touching her, does not like to be bothered and spends all of her time alone even when we have company. It is as if she lives in her own little world. Amongst other things, I've found quite disturbing images on her computer. Today, I was looking at her calendar on her iPod to check out when her driver's ed appointment was, and I saw written "kill self" as a task for yesterday. Of course she didn't, but I found that a bit odd to place on a calendar. Last night she, my husband and I were having an argument over dinner. It lasted around two hours, she was in bed the entire time because when my husband started trying to reason with her over dinner, she was already in bed. This was around 10:30. It ended shortly before 1 AM, and my husband and I went to bed around half an hour later. As I passed by her room, I could hear her crying violently (yet not loud enough to be heard except right outside her door) and whispering what sounded like "please kill me," to herself. I don't know how long this went on but I went into her room before I went to work in the morning and she was not crying. She argues constantly and is constantly belittling me. It really takes a toll on my self-esteem. I am a bit sensitive and she knows that, yet she never stops arguing, she has even said on a few occasions that she hates me. She wakes me up when I'm meant to go to work, claiming that she feels sick but can't talk loud enough for me to hear (I wear earplugs in the morning) explaining it, so when I tell her to speak up she just leaves. She does this multiple times and after a while, I admit I get very angry. I have said things about her being worthless, lazy, trashy, sl*tty and that I hate living with her but it was always after an argument. When I do get physical with her it rarely leaves bruises, if it does they are usually not even very large. I've played mind games with her and manipulated memories she has but the reason I am saying this is because I am a changed person. I am getting help and have been in therapy for two months. Anyway, I have no idea what to do with my daughter. I've been logging her chats for the past few weeks and she's still talking to the older men, I've even found some disgusting personal pictures of theirs on her Received Files folder. I have no idea if she sends them anything, but I don't know how to stop all of this. Kids need the internet, they need their internet, if not for fun for school. My daughter is 16 now, almost an adult. Any advice appreciated. Need information on the game designprogramming industry Career details please help And collegehs classes
Hello, I'm fourteen and I just graduated from eighth grade. I want to go into something computer and game related for my career. I'm not sure if I want to design games, or if I want to program them. And I'm not sure what parts of which aspect of that industry I want to be involved in, because I don't really know anything of what it takes. Here's what I want to know. I want to be involved in making games. So what different parts are there? Programming and design (of characters or backgrounds or whatever, I don't know yet) are what I mostly want info on, but what smaller subdivisions of those aspects are there? Also, how would I get into this? How do people in big companies make characters? Do they use C++? Because me and my friend are taking a two year elective class on that at the highschool, and I'm trying to get a head start on it now. Also, what would all the different types of game design pay? What can they go up to, what do you start out at, how hard is it to find a job in that market, where would I need to move to to find a job in that industry? What different things would I need to know? For graphic design, what would I need to know? After highschool, I should be pretty damn good at C++, but do I need anything else, or something completely different? Do I have to be good at actual drawing on paper? What kind of computers and programs would I be using? Where would I work, and with what kind of people, and how long? How much work would I put in, in terms of difficulty, and would I be laid off at all? What if I decide to program some kind of game? What would I need to know? Would it be C++, or Java, or Visual Basic??? Would I need to know anything else? What kind of classes would I need to take? Would I need to be VERY good at math? Should I take things higher up, like AP, AB, BC Calculus??? Same goes for Graphic Design: what kind of classes would I need to take? Also, I plan on going to college (would that improve my chances?) So what kind of college should I go to??? Any specific colleges? Or should I look into something like the art school of Philadelphia, or is that too little? Should I skip college and just do a Vo-Tech kind of thing? A community college? I'd really like to go to a good, full, four year college...or would I have to go longer? What kind of classes would I have to take??? What skills and attributes do I need to have for all of the different aspects of this? Another thing. How would I go about getting a job? Do I just walk up to Sony's front door and say "Yo, I'm a program y'alls computer!" (lol, I'm kidding, you know) or do I have to start out small? If so, then what would I have to get into? What kind of classes should I take in college and highschool? (Since I'll be going into ninth at the end of summer.) I live in Pennsylvania. Berwick, small podunk town, I really hate it. Iused to live in Philly. Are there any good colleges for what I'm looking for around there? Are any of those Ivy League schools good for what I want? Then again, I don't even really know what I want! That's the other part of why I'm asking this question! I need to know EVERYTHING!!! I need to learn as much as I can now, and plan out as much as I can; my family's poor, I have no sort of college fund, but I'm smart as hell, and I'm trying to improve my chances of a good college as much as possible. (My father can't work, he is disabled, handicapped, has epilepsy, and my mother can't work because she has to stay home with him. Unfortunately, they now hate each other and are getting a divorce. I need help making a house in Game Maker for a game Im making Also I need some graphics resources Please
Hello, I'm making a Final Fantasy themed RPG on Game Maker Lite. I need help finding graphics resources. I've gotten a few from the website itself, but I'm out now; they don't have anything else that I can use. I've also submitted requests for spriters there to help me, but no answers yet. I've decided not to use anyone else's sprites unless they allow me to use them (usually you have to give them credit in the game, which is fine with me). I'm TRYING to make my own...it's hard. I need to know how to make a house. I tried using Gimp and just making something with different colors, but it didn't work. When I make the pointed roof (I'm trying something Final Fantasy/medieval/renaissance themed, like I said), then it shows a white background outside the slants for the roof. And I can't get rid of it. I can't make a background of it because it does that, and I can't make a sprite and then an object because it also does that. So how do I make one? Also, how do I make it so when a character hits the door of the building, they go into the "next room"? (which I have made the inside of said house.) I tried using the event "Contact" and when that even t happens, having the action be to go to the next room. I made that event and action on a door object (made out of a door sprite, of course), and tried putting it on top of the house (it was a house someone else had made and I downloaded.) But the door deletes the house it's put on top of. I tried unchecking the "delete underlying" and it didn't work. So how do I do all of this? ok i want to know ur most EMBARRASSING moments like no joke embarrassing...like its not even funny embarrassing that's how embarrassing...ha ha...i'll share a couple of mine with you guys..ok the first one::::::::: ok so we just came back from p.e. (fourth grade) so we're coming back from p.e. i almost fell several times because all the kids were pushing and shoving and there were these three guys i sorta liked (now i don't give a crap about them i don't even see them i go to a different school) and anyways i finally but thinking instinctively i grab something that's around me i grab my crush's hand and he all like what the heck and lets go/shakes my hand off im all like NOO as i trip i landed on my knees... THAT is something that i kinda will never think is funny but since you guys dont know me you probably think its funny yea it is kinda funny but embarrassing!!!! another story::::::: ok so we had to act out words like mad, timid, happy...etc.. anyways its my turn and i had the word timid and i didnt know how to act timid so i look at the teacher and she tells me to play with my hands and look around nervously i do it but feel stupid soo i laugh but to my horror a big no wait HUMOUNGUS piece of snot shoots out of my nose everyone start laughing i hear this stupid kid who i never really got along with say "her worst enemy the..TISSUE!!" i felt so embarrassed i didnt feel anything no emotions so so embarrassing for a 9 yr old (fifth grade the first crush is gone he went to a different school) AND:::::::: this happened this year before school was out there was a basketball game and i had to go to the restroom unfortunately the door was on the other side of the gym so i walk hoping no one would accidentally "throw" the ball in direction i keep on walking im almost to the door BUT a ball comes my way and i scream at the top of my lungs the people in the audience start laughing and the people playing basket ball keep on playing...the ball didnt hit just came close thats all... how embarrassing LOL.... i have alot more just email me at princesslove3434@yahoo.com for many MANY more!!!! if you guys have embarrassing moments/stories then i would love to here them just answer the question and the funniest/embarrassingest (lol) gets 10 points!!!!!!!!!!
