Why is my computer slow
I've had my computer for several years, but it's never been this slow before. Last week, the internet was fine. I could press play on a video on youtube and it was load as I watched it, but now, it has to stop every couple of seconds to load. When I try to play a game online, it used to take about 15 seconds to load but now it takes 90 seconds. This slowness began on Wed. I turned on the computer & it said it was going to do a disk check (or something--I'm not sure exactly what--I have a Dell computer with Windows XP if that helps) Anyway it has done this before but I noticed that the check was taking a LOT longer than it used to. When it finally finished I logged on and tried to play a video and that's when I noticed the computer was very slow. Also, I had downloaded a toolbar last month & I think it was an automatic update, and I got a new version of it. I thought maybe that was slowing the computer down so I uninstalled the toolbar but it is still slow. Then I spoke to my sister who went online before me that day & she said the computer did a disk check then also, & the internet was very slow. I'm not sure if she let the disk check continue though. And I don't know if she downloaded anything. She's rather apprehensive about that. I don't know what the problem could be. I ran a virus & spyware check & nothing came up (But there were 11 warnings from cookies). I deleted most of my browser history. My computer has more than half of its memory left. I deleted some other files but nothing worked. Also I looked at the System Configuration Utility & I unselected some things in startup & a couple in services. I even cleaned the inside of the CPU (lots of dust in there) I read somewhere that it could be the registry & I would have to download something. But I'm not too excited about downloading anything more. Can someone please tell me what to do?

I made a friend at the beginning of the school year in 08, and we are s good friends. We both play guitar and video games, she's so nice and funny, but I developed a big crush on her and am afraid to tell her. (ruin the friendship...?) so I'm really lost. How am I able to tell what people are going to say
Okay I don't know if I'm just being crazy, but please tell me what you think. Lately I've been realizing that I do this strange thing where I can tell exactly what a person is going to say next. I can do other things too - but the strangest thing is that I always say it to myself uncontrollably before it happens. Like, one time I was in my room and I just began randomly singing some random words. I then went outside over to the living room, and I stopped and looked at the TV. Then after a few commercials this music video came on that I had never seen and the lyrics matched up perfectly to what I was saying earlier. I can do other weird things like tell whose going to win a board game before it starts. I can also do this thing where whenever a person is about to say something or wants you to guess what they're thinking - I always randomly blurt the answer before they do. I do other things too - like one time I sat down to watch a crime show and randomly I blurted "she was born a boy!" which everyone thought was funny. But at the end of the show it turned out that the whole crime got twisted because this girl was born a boy but she got a sex transplant. This isn't a joke! Can anybody tell me what is the reason for this happening? Can anyone relate? It goes on all the time, and I'm always right.

I have been thinking about getting fired from my job so I can get some benefitsis this wrong
Here my situation is: I have been working 8 hours a day for the last 2 years since quitting school. I am still making 7 dollars an hour, by the way. I see a lot of my friends living off of unemployment and food stamps, which I think kind of sucks. But, they are just hanging out and playing video games while I have been working. I feel like the place I am working doesn't care about me and my job is not fun (I have to skin the chickens before they get cut into their parts). When I have time to hang out with my friends and we begin to talk about how I keep getting overlooked for a promotion (having done this same job for the last 2 years), they encourage me by telling me that I will be the first to get laid off when the time comes. And now I am thinking that I could like, slow down some more on purpose, and get in on the job cuts that the rumor has it, as taking place soon. Am I wrong thinking this? What would you do if you could live as good as you do now and not have to work? Seems like winning the lottery to me.

So he called everyone yesterday that he has his party, half of them came. Altogether, there was 9 of us, and one of the guys I already knew, cause he's this family friend, same as my guy. We go way back since we were all like 4. Anyways, Guy 2, used to have a crush on me a few years back, don't know about know, but he really /is kinda cute... haha Anyways, his parents left the house all to us for 5 hours, that really helped me to relax. :] We swam, ran to the sauna, swam, ran back to the sauna. The sauna got as hot as 110C at one time. xDD We kept adding flavours to it, like apple, and citrus lol. We played Marco Polo in the water. Pretty cool. Ran a whole CD of cool songs. lol In Miami Btch is stuck in my head. x3 He surprised me. He actually swears like a normal kid, and is like so cool actually. Me and Guy 2 kept flirting a lot though. Oh ya and when I came, Like 15 minutes early, I gave him his gift, and he hugged me, and at the end he gave this cute side hug. <333 He had 2 boxes of pizzas there, 2 boxes of chicken wings, 2 boxes of french fries, and a box of onion rings. x3 mmmm. We played volleyball. I was the last one standing, he and this other guy were team captains. And I was like: Heyy! you didn't choose me! And he said: oh sorry, I didn't notice you weren't on a team. I was on guy 2's team. Asked for my guy's msn, he said he doesn't go on it often. I thought he didn't go on his facebook a lot, cause the pic is with him and a girl in the wintertime, but he actually goes on a lot. He's soooo hawt lol/ One of the best parties I went to. After we finished swimming, I just put my hollister shirt over my bikini, and walked around like that, no pants. Haha. Oh ya and guy 2 swung me on the swings really fast. (it goes round) So ya, I think it was pretty awesome. There were 9 of us all together. 2 girls besides me. One of them is pretty short, and he kept on making jokes about her height. Like when we were playing volleyball, she couldn't catch the ball, and he was like: Oh! She just came /short of the ball! xDDD When I left the place when they were outside, I went inside to go to the washroom, he stared at me when I was inside, and I waved to him, and he waved back. He was like: =o, where are you going, like his face expression was that. Then in the sauna, I said: Guess what your grandma told me? He's like: What? That she wants us to marry? She ALWAYS tells me that, and I tell her, grandma, I'm only 1*! x333 Then when we were in the sauna, I was without my glasses, and I put my knee up and sat like that, and he said: You're so cute, your feet dangling! I couldn't make out who he said it to though, me or the girl he teases beside me. >.> Hmmh. If it was truly me, he said it to, then I would be like- And Guy 2, was always talking about bananas. >.> haha And quite a few times I could see a boneeyy. x33333 HAHA. Then the girls were talking about how they once dared him to wear a bikini top, and put water balloons in there, and he did that, and I said: I would /love to see that/ xDD He laughed. Then he put on the cologne I gave to him as a present, and he smelled sooo good. <333 I said: You just don't wear that to school, or else all the girls will run after you. x3 haha. And we got into talking with the whole group of how me and him know each other, and he's like: we're family friends. Then very quietly: We're pretty tight. And when he was serving the rice that his dad made with chicken and spices (mmmm), no one had forks, so I was like: Do you want me to get them? And he said: Sure, thanks! I felt like we were married. x3 haha <3333 And I was like a tour guide for everyone to the washrooms, haha. And we played video games at the beginning, Mario Kart Wii, and I failed so miserably, haha. So I gave him the controls, and he was like: Ya! Baby Daisy FTW!!! Boyfriend and the love of my life another guy dilemma
I have been w/ my bf for almost two years and we live together. Our relationship is weird; we haven’t had sex in over 7 months. He’s never went down on me, we hardly ever even kiss. I've went down on him soooo many times because I LIKE pleasing my man. I know he’s not cheating on me, I know this for a fact…he’s ALWAYS home and NO he’s not gay. He’s a stoner who likes to play video games. We’re total opposites. He’s real mellow, home body and I like to be out and about and I’m the biggest social butterfly. Everywhere I go, I make friends and I’m pretty easy on the eyes so I have no problem finding guys. SO here’s the twist on the story… Lately I’ve been frustrated, I feel like he’s not even trying. It’s not even because he's not physically attrated to me.Him and his friends use to try to get at me allll the time and I picked him because he was the "nice" guy. I’ve had this talk with him time and time again that things need to change otherwise we would not work out. We never fight about anything except for this. His answer is always the same. His explanation is that in the past this was something all he thought about from girls but since he’s met me, he realized that other things in life are more important and that’s why he knows he loves me. He loves me because he doesn’t need it. (WTF kinda sh*t is that) So two months ago, I met someone on an airplane on my way back home from a business trip. It was undeniable the attraction we had for one another. We exchanged numbers but I kept flaking on him to because I felt guilty. A month of him calling/texting to take me out, I finally said yes. Since that day, we have been trying to see each other as much as possible AND I started sleeping with him. I’ve never felt so much chemistry and love the way I feel now. Our sex life is AMAZING. So I finally told this guy my big secret…off course at first he didn’t know what to do but I told him the situation and he’s excepted it. He excepts it because he loves me but he wants me to leave my bf. I barely even go homt to sleep now because he wouldn’t allow be to. He wants me to move out ASAP. I have no problem ending things with my bf except we live together and our house is under both our names. We have dogs together, credit card bills…I feel like we’re practically married. I know I need to choose and I already know WHO I’m going to choose. I am madly in love with this guy despite the fact that we’ve only known each other two months. Not one ounce of my feelings tell me he isn’t right for me and I can guarantee you that I’ve never felt like this before. I’ve never been surer of anything except this. I think my bf knows something is up because these past two weeks he’s been trying to get some. Off course now that I’m getting it from elsewhere he wants it. I don’t double dip so I been telling him I’m on my rag, or “I’m too tired”…making excuses. Why all of a sudden is he trying? Any ideas on how I can help my brother
I have a 5 year old brother who seems to be getting more and more spoiled as time goes on. At age three he said please and thank you and you're welcome all the time and now he's just a complete brat pretty much all the time. He has no manners unless he wants something. My parents let him play video games and eat junk food all day. When I was his age I could read, write stories, and was beginning first grade. He can barely read or write and is probably going into pre-k this fall. My parents try to teach him to read and write but he has a very short attention span which he did not seem to have before, and they usually give up pretty quickly. I have recently been trying to get him to read, and he lasts maybe 30-45 minutes and then starts to try to sneak off or spit at me or something. I'm getting pretty concerned about it because I don't want him to grow up spoiled and stupid like some other kids he knows. Also my parents seem to think it's no big deal and seem to think this is normal behavior for his age, but obviously that's not true because all my siblings were much smarter and better behaved at age five. Any ideas on what I should do? Am I overreacting?
