How come I am unable to register Warcraft 3 on STEAM
my copy of the game is legit, with the product code on the inside cover. It is installed on my computer and everything, but, how come when I register the product on steam, it says: "Invalid product key" I really want to play the game with a couple of friends online (without battle.net) any help. once again is greatly appreciated.

Can I play this without redownloadinginstalling
I had installed a variety of games through steam. After I upgraded my computer It had all the files and data in 'WindowsOld'. I reinstalled steam, but how can I get my old pre-installed games to work with the current steam? In steam games it says they're not downloaded/installed. Any help would be appreciated. Upgrade: new motherboard,CPU,video card, and new OS. Same Hard Drive as before.

Counter strike finding servers issue
I used to play counter strike 1.6 + half life + condition zero before and everything worked fine, I reformatted my PC a week ago and tried CS 1.6 but it crashed to desktop after a few seconds from starting , while CZ and HL worked fine and the three games could find online servers easily, I decided to remove the whole folder and uninstall them and installed the 3 games again, now this time im stuck at finding any online servers, it just tells me Could not contact master game server to retrieve server list and i tried everything possible deleting the MasterServers.vdf file and replacing it with a new one, deleting client registry.blob file in steam folder though im not using steam to play online and used to play normally online on lots of servers without steam, i disabled my firewall and tried everything but nothing works, plz need help

Without using the account
Is it possible to have a Steam game installed and play it without using that account to access the game? Example: I install Team Fortress 2, then log out of my account. Is there a way to play the game without logging back in?

Why wont Empire Total War update correctly
i bought the game, installed the game and steam with no problems. it says it needs to update and says its at 0%, __ kb/ sec ect. but the percentage never goes up. i left it on for hours and it didn't even go up to 1%. Is it because the servers busy? or is it because a certain anti-virus program needs to be disabled or something? or something totally different? i just want to play this game ASAP because it looks awesome. thanks for your time. PS: if anyone has a way to play this game without updating steam or without it period, that would be great. (i just plan on playing the game single player offline all the time) hint hint......

Left 4 Dead Offline play steam
Ok i just bought left 4 dead and i installed it but i cant play it, i registered on steam and when i try play the game it starts downloading an update, my internet is dam slow an i don't want to wait three hours, anyone know how to bypass steam or just play offline without any updates needed?

Can anyone help me fix the Empire Total War Demo Error
i know that there are a lot of answers on this already, but it has not quite fixed the problem yet. i installed steam, the game demo, and the updates with no problem(except the amount of time). then i go to play the game, the screen turns white and the mouse changes into the game mouse appearance, and Empire.exe error report, send or don't send, ect. i have windows XP home edition will the game work on it? also, will it work on a Intel Celeron processor? And lastly, does anyone have a link to download the game without having to download steam? like download it the old fashion way, you know, were you simply download it off a site and you can play it without these annoying sites getting in the way? thanks for your help

problem with steam account
i had to reinstall windows XP on my computer because microsoft told me it was the only way to fix my errors but now my steam account is telling me that i can not play Team Fortress 2 (the only game i have on steam that is not a demo) because while it is installed on my computer it is locked how do i get it unlocked without repaying?
