New store is being built closer to me good idea to turn in Application at other store location
I've been looking for a decent steady paycheck for a while, and i just saw that they are placing a Game stop in the strip plaza near my house. They've had put the sign up a couple of weeks ago, however they are still working on the interior itself. I really need a job and i was wondering if it would be a good maneuver to submit a application and my resume to a different store and ask them to give it to the district manager or who ever would be in charged of that store? I just need some second opinion's and/or helpful advice on how i would do it? I'll add the new location is still under mantance, people are still repairing the store and prepairing it to be open. However i have no clue when it will open and i want to apply to be an assiant manager for that store. So there is no store to apply yet

What are the laws in Pa regarding store security
I was at a store a couple days ago ... I made my purchase and proceeded to exit the store .. I bought a few items from canned cat food to a pack of razor blades .. The razors were the culprit of setting off the alarms .. Every time I go in to this particular store they "forget" to disarm the alarm sensor .. Now on to a bit more history .. I use to have an item not sure what it was , wallet , purse etc that set it off when I would go in , and would be stopped at exit as well as entry . I finally got fed up and told them to take a hike that I was getting fed up with this , they seem to have left me alone after this ... Fast forward a few years later . I picked out a table cloth chose the blue and after thinking about this went back and picked up the green replacing the blue one to the shelf and proceeded to check out . I got stopped as the person who had the item walked out ahead of me with the paid merchandise.After that incident at the same store (about 6 years later from the table cloth incident ) I purchased a toilet seat yes a toilet seat , we made the approach to the exit , this guy demanded to see the receipt I was already out at the car the other 1/2 was leaving and got stopped . I instructed him to just leave that I was NOT coming back to prove that I did pay . The elderly guy there struck my husband not 1 x but 3 times .. We called law enforcement but they said he was justified ... How can this be ? Now on to this current store (different location) We found a paid game boy in the parking lot a bit after christmas .. There was a receipt , I went to return it to security as I knew some one was bound to miss this 250 dollar item . I got the 3rd degree ..And they would not let me return it I ignored them and kept a walking figuring that I was returning a lost item and that I did not need to answer to some smug jack ass accusing me of stealing an item into the store ! Now on to what happened yesterday same store (same location as game boy incident ) Now lets get back to the topic at hand .. Yesterday I went to the same chain store (yep walmart , before saying change stores we live in a small area with this really being the only store to use that is not a huge drive tho after yesterday I am willing to make the drive ) I purchased as I stated in the beginning several items from canned cat food to razors .. As I made my way to the exit , and through the exit the alarms sounded , the razors being the culprit , now anytime I buy something there be it razors to cleaning products they REFUSE to disarm the alarm sensor .. so yesterday I had it and kept walking . They hollered at me to return which I did NOT comply . They kept my husband there and he eventually (about 2 minutes walked out too). My question is can they have you arrested for not stopping and would the charges stick ? Especially if you can prove that you only have the items on the receipt ? I have saved the sensor to place on me to irritate them the next time I am there just to piss them off I will place it on my person where they will not find it and can NOT search ! But I want to know if this is something I have to stop for or am I being unfairly detained ? Steven if you would have read I gave a history of what has happened (all relivent IMO, ) Nothing was burried .. As for being in my right mind sorry pal there are only a few stores locally here and that is one ! Like it or not I really do not have a choice in the matter of shops here in small town USA ,, Incase you are wondering you have 0 chance of me picking you for an answer you prick ! A Storm to be remembered At five o'clock in the evening on an October day, not unlike any other, it was windy but clear outside. Then suddenly, the clouds began moving in. It got really dark and started thundering and raining. Streaks of lightening were reflecting on the windows. The wind began to whirl loudly and then it blew even harder. I heard the loud noise of a tree breaking outside. This was a storm to never be forgotten. I was watching TV with my mom and sisters when suddenly, the power went out. It was so dark in the house that I couldn't see anything. We had to use flashlights to get around in a small and cold apartment. I’m glad we had flashlights. My mom suggested that we all go into the basement. But we decided that it wouldn't be a good idea since we wouldn´t be able to hear very well down there. I looked outside, it was so dark and gloomy and the rain was coming down very hard. I could hear rain drops hitting the window. Blue flashes of lightening kept shining through the window. All of us were quiet and calm except for my sister. She was so frightened of the lightning that she jumped on the couch and put her hands over her ears. There was a knock on our door. When we opened it, a fireman was standing there. The fireman was a tall muscular dark-haired guy. That was a little bit under 6 ft. He came to report the fire that was outside of our house. The fireman asked us if we had anywhere to stay the night since it was unsafe. We said that we didn't, and that we couldn't call anyone because the phone wasn't working. It was a very --------scene ;The power line which was above several trees in front of our house was on fire. Sparks of fire were running through the power the line, and obscure smoke was in the air. The fireman walked slowly off the porch to report the news to the other neighbors. Then he got in the fire truck put on the sirens and proceeded to take off. My brother arrived and told us that he came over to check on us because no one answered the telephone. He lives on the other side of town and wasn't affected by the storm. He decided to take us to stay at his house until the storm was over. We stopped of on the way to buy some blankets and pillows and since we hadn't eaten anything yet, we went to Mc Donald’s to get a hot meal. While we were at my brother's house, we played board games and watched the local news. In addition, we watched movies, ate popcorn, and talked to each other all night. My mom decided to go next door and play bingo with her friend since she really didn't care to watch movies or play any of the games. We played the board games for a couple more hours, and then went to sleep. I'm glad we had somewhere to go during the storm, rather than staying home in a dark house. The following morning, we awoke and ate the breakfast that I prepared. I decided to cook, since my brother had a long day at work and had stayed up all night with us. Later, we packed our things to return home. When we arrived at our house, the neighborhood was a disaster; there were trees and branches everywhere. In front of our house was the huge tree that had fallen, and the power line was hanging down in the street. It was so hard for anyone to walk on the sidewalks that when they passed by, they walked in the street. The streets were so full of tree branches that it was very hard for cars and people to pass through. A lot of the cars on the street had to be moved to other locations. The next door neighbor was so upset that she called the city. Her son uses the yellow school bus and it wouldn't be able to pass through the debris on the street to pick him up. My mom was disappointed because she had just brought groceries and all of the food in the fridge had spoiled because the electricity was out. We waited about 2 hours for the people to come to restore the power. It was a great thing that we had flashlights to use for seeing around the house. Later, my brother took us to the store to buy more groceries, helped us with the house cleaning and picked up some of the branches and rubbish that was in the yard. After he said goodbye to everyone and left, my mom, my sisters, and I looked at each other, thinking that even though we had been through a bad storm, we were happy that we were all safely together. That day everything was back to normal. It was hot and the sun was shining just like there had never been a storm. The power was back on and everything was working properly again. All was quiet and calm. The only sound was of the cars passing by. The landlord came to remove the big tree that had fallen and the power people came to repair the downed power lines. Even though the noisy neighbor seems to worry about everyone; she was very helpful by calling someone to help during the storm.

My dream was about a blue convertible so what does it mean
This is what I remember from my dream. This was not in my dream (I work at a grocery store and been wanting a change of location so I don't have to drive). In this dream I changed the location of where I worked to a more a productive environment. I worked in the produce section when I came upon a huge mess in one of the coolers. I ended up rearranging everything that was in there and when I was done I noticed there was a need of more of that product so I went to the stock room where they had it. For some reason there were carts in the stock room that had sky high piles of boxes on them which created a mess and made it harder to walk back there. But eventually the whole thing was cleared up because of the help of other employees. Another portion of my dream was me and my girlfriend together sitting on a small bed in a house with a drive through garage. We were having fun being with each other and it came to a point during our time that I had to leave because it was getting late which is what I usually do. So before we left to guide her to her house she was hesitant to just let me pray for the both of us before we went to bed. and I spoke to her and she seemed to be in a more accepting mood even though praying wasn't her thing. While I was in front of her , behind me seemed to be grungy men who were looking for a fight. They were sitting there playing games with themselves and talking amongst themselves, and their presense made me feel in humiliation for praying for me and her. In this dream I remember I kept grinding my teeth and I wanted to stop, but I kept grinding my teeth, eventually I was able to control it. In my dream I remember standing up to people in my school who thought they were cool and tried to be in essence "bullies". There came a point in my dream where I felt peace as I walked in my garage and there was this nice blue convertible which had the roof down already. It seemed to be a muscle car. I looked in the back seat and it had my religious items like my tallit that I take to synagogue. I was ready to just hop in but the garage door was closed. I got out and went in to another room where there were office cupboards opened one up and began peeing because i needed to. However there was a woman and her daughter in the room and I felt embarassed.

What Can I do about this incident
I was not at the actual incident, but this is what I was told and wanted to know what we could do . My Husband and his friend ran into each other while both attending a re-hiring at a theme park. They got to talking and decided to go buy a video game at the nearest Wal-mart. They drove their separate cars down to the Wal-mart, but when they got there my Husbands friend had his cousin with him. My husband and his friend went to the electronics department while the cousin wandered off. They met up again at the front of the store. On their way towards the door they were stopped by an LP officer. He told the cousin that he had been following him(and on camera) around and saw him steal Trading Cards. Officer told him that if he gave them back, they would drop the charges. He gave the cards back to the LP guy, but then was asked to go with him to be taken to the back room. The cousin says to the LP guy, "What?", the LP officer screams "resisting arrest!" then tackles the guy against a wall and handcuffs him. My husband yells at the cousin saying" What the hell is wrong with you? I work at Wal-mart!" (Not at this location where it happened, but at another) A manager came by (who had reviewed the security tapes)and my husbands friend asked if he could talk to her. They were told to follow her, which was in the same direction the cousin was being taken to be detained. During this short walk to the back they were told that she had seen the tapes and did not see the two anywhere near the area where the incident happened. She asked them to wait there a moment and she would be back later. She disappeared and not to long after that the LP Guy comes back out with a police officer and was told they had to go to the back room. They were taken to the back room to have a talk with the PO and LP guy. They explained that they had nothing to do with the theft and that the manager lady already told them they were not seen near that area. The LP guy tries to tell my husband some bullshit that they were going to "charged as accessories to a robbery" (their words exactly), and although the charges were dropped, they would be sent a bill in the mail for the damages. At this point they had taken my husbands and his friends Drivers Licenses to take down info, so they had his address. Another manager had walked into the room and the LP guy starts gloating to her telling her " I caught three guys at once!" and then mentions to her that my husband worked at wal-mart. She walks up to my husband then says, "Terminated!" He yells at her saying he had nothing to do with it and she just keeps telling him over and over saying he was going to get fired. A third manager who watched all of this said that she would to my husbands district manager and try to explain that he had nothing to do with it. Altogether they were detained in the back room for about 1/2 hour . Well the incident WAS forwarded to his store manager, but was told that it was the District Managers decision . The store manager has gone on vacation, so he has no idea what his status is until he gets back. We plan to go back to the store today to get the number for THEIR District manager. As far as what happened ... what can we do about this bill we are supposedly are going to get, my husband being detained for something he didn't do, & the rude lady mocking him about termination. And if for some reason his DOES get terminated, what can he do about that? He does want to quit after all this happened, but at the moment we cant afford for him to lose his job, so we are not sure what to do if ti does happen. I dont see where you got that he interfered an investigation of a shoplifting. He did not stop the LP from searching the guy, did not stop the LP or Officer in any way from taking the cousin to the back, and went everywhere he was told to go. As I mentioned, my Husband works for Wal-mart. He is VERY familiar with shoplifting procedures and even talked with his store's LP guy and learned that the LP guy from the other stored did NOT follow procedures and that my husband was not supposed to be detained. Thats why I question his detainment .... if had never been detained I wouldn't have to worry about all this mess. But if theres nothing i can do about it .. I guess well have to deal with it. I just dont think its fair.

HEY WHO IS LOOKING FOR HELP THIS YR FOR CHRISTMAS?READ!!? have been there..we went to dollartree one yr and bought my daughter all kinds of stuff they are all new and in packages and 1.00 cheaper than a thrift store..also i do know that toys for tots helps, the salvation army, and the united way. you need to get them on the lists asap to help also..i dont know if they have this or not where you are, but one yr i went to h&r block and i got a loan off my income tax in december i will be doing that this yr they start it on november 17th this monday maybe you should check into that. its like a line of credit off your income tax. you know come to think of it one yr my mom couldnt afford christmas for me and my brother and she went to rent a center and did a 1 week free thing and got us something there maybe you can get a playstation 3 from there and go to a game stop and buy a few cheap used games. if you need thanksgiving dinner check pantries in your area. the will be giving dinners away and also christmas dinners too. if you need a tree it is best to wait the week before to get it at a great price!! not from a tree lot but like from walmart or your local grocery..I have been there keep your head up and remember your boys love you and they will understand that this yr will be rough but i know better times will come for you and your family..may god bless and i will pray for you..
