Which should i getXbox 360 or PS3
I am trying to decide between a Xbox 360 and a PS3 for my birthday. I already have a Wii, PS2, Nintendo 64, and PSP. As of right now...i am selling my PS2 no matter which one i decide on.
I personally like Shooting, Free-Roam (like Infamous and GTA), Sports, some Strategy, some RPGs, Racing, and some Fighting games. Good online play is a must and great DLC would be a plus too. Many of my friends have the 360 and get on Xbox Live alot. I understand the PS3 has Blu-Ray but i dont have an HDTV, so i heard it would be useless....PLEASE HELP

Online Sports games on the internet
I've been wanting to play some online games that are free on the internet. recently i have found a website called funorb.com and i like it alot! the only problem is the games a play are games like soccer and i dont like to play soccer. the only reason i play it is so i can play people online. so any websites that have multiplayer online lobbys and games like baseball, hockey, or football would be great!

Life story essay for my Psychology Class I need help with my essay please
Hello, I attend Ashford online college and I was hoping that someone would help me with my essay. It needs to be in APA formatting and I also need help with citing sources in APA format as well. The other last thing I need help with is writing a conclusion as well as helping rewrite my thesis statement. Here's my essay so far:
My Time Capsule
Jimmy-Joe Bermudez
PSYCH 202
Professor Tim Serey
June 29 , 2009
Being away from school and academics can take a big toll on you, I know because when I heard that I had to write a Reflective paper for my Psych 202 class, I started getting nervous. My academic past has never been anything "stellar" so whenever I wrote papers in my high school years for my language arts classes, they were never "A+" material. Now that I have not written an essay in about a decade, I feel more frustrated than I have in the past. The purpose of this reflective paper is for me to illustrate my past, present and future through a series of experiences using theories of Adult Development introduced to me in this class. These experiences are what made me the person I am today and will probably dictate what I will become in the future.
The first eleven years of my life were spent in Ecuador, South America where I was born and raised (at least I think that is how it went down). My family was majorly involved in academics, so my parents always had high marks in school and my grandmother was literally my personal teacher. She ran 2 schools all by herself. One was her college where she was the principal and a teacher and the other elementary school where I went to and did the same there. Pretty impressive if I may say so, which leads me to the reason why my entire family is important to me. Everyone has had some sort of high level achievement which make them positive role models for me and possibly my children in the future. The other people who are important to me are my friends because they know I sometimes have low self confidence, but even so, they do their best to push me to my limits and help me get out of the holes I sometimes dig myself into. No one is perfect, but even then, we do our best to help each other out and that is one huge positive aspect of my friends that not even money could never buy.
As everyone knows, we all have hobbies in our childhood that we think might determine the type of job we might have in the future. My hobbies included martial arts, collecting action figures (got to love that era when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were a big hype!!), playing with electric train sets, and old school video games. Of course now, the amount of hobbies I have are greater than before, because I now do some web design, collect samurai swords and chat online with friends. However, the one hobby that was truly worthwhile was martial arts, because although it is actually a sport I treated it more like a hobby of mine. It was a good source of modeling because it taught me a lot about discipline, respect, trust, generosity, and many other positive aspects of life. According to Albert Bandura's social learning theories, learning can also take place by watching others perform an action and experience some sort of reinforcement and or punishment (Boyd & Bee, Custom Edition, 2009, page 31). In a way, this relates to me because I learn by watching others do certain tasks and through that I can see what will work and what will not.
After I graduated from high school, my life sort of started heading down hill because I did not immediately attend college, but instead took a long five year break from education. Such action took a big toll on me, because I started forgetting about the skills I had acquired and resulted in me ending up in a dead end job. It seriously took four years for me to earn my first promotion, because my manager was not exactly as smart as everyone else was and he intended on keeping it that way. Though I did enjoy the free time, I felt like it was all for nothing. There was nothing to learn from it, nothing to be gained and no feeling of accomplishment. Thinking that changing jobs to an electronics store would make any improvements in my life was also a mistake. Instead, it got even worse from there! Although I did get promoted in a significantly short amount of time, it was not really that much rewarding and felt like there was something still missing. My attendance for that job started getting worse and worse and I was finally fired for bad attendance and from there began my 3 month depression where I seriously did not want to do anything, not even breathe.
Though it took quite some time for my family to help me recover from this depression, I actually feel like it was well worth it after all. It helped me wake up from this coffin I put myself into and allowed me to rethink my position in going back to school. Thankfully, there was a call from one of the academic recruiters from Ashford University who also helped me a lot in
I am not gonna use them as my own. I already have my own here. What I am trying to do is polish it so that it looks better. No one knows if my thesis even works? thats what I am having problems with. I went to one of your links and they were charging me for an essay. Hell naw. thanks anyways though.

Ive played both but what should I keep for a new video game
Call of Duty: World at War vs the Conduit. (You know you saw that coming...)
Ok. So I'm trying to get either EA SPORTS Grand Slam Tennis or Virtua Tennis 2009 (Why, because I love tennis with a strong passion?)
So lets concentrate on pros, shall we? (High emphasis on ONLINE PLAY)
-TCon is obviously the more new game when against CoD.
-Online play has more modes, not to mention WiiSpeak?! (What, did you say WIISPEAK?!)
-Free buttom customization?! THAT'S AWESOME!
-Teams are always switched. So if there's a "pro" on the other team, next game he/she just MIGHT be on your team!
-No real "over-used" gun as it's a new game. And when you play online, guns are placed at random, so nothing is unfair. It's all about the level of skill.
-The fact it's an original "from the ground-up" Wii game. Not some "Hey, I think Wii feels left out. Why should PS3 and Xbox 360 have all the fun" kind of game - series.
-CoD, what a great franchise. C'mon, when you played it on PS2, it definitely got you stuck on the game for a couple hours at most.
-Maps for online play are AMAZING at play.
-Many play it, obviously probably more than TCon since it's been released a hell lot earlier.
Now for the cons. (Boohoo!)
-TCon is still new. It's always frustrating getting used to a new game, but it's always fun in the process.
-Yet again, it's new! That means, less players! (But that doesn't really matter you doof!)
-"Everything's all randomized! I hate it!" Oh really? Well that sucks. Play CoD then.
-CoD...if you've played it to at least the first prestige, then you know what's overused. (Hm. let me guess...? MP40 sprays, flamethrowers, rifle nades?. God, what an easy way to mess up someone's K/D ratio...)
-Some maps are glitched. Some especially noted are Cliffside and Makin.
-"Everything's THE SAME ALL THE TIME!" Oh really, well then buy TCon and have a blast. CoD will still be fun without you. =P.
Besides all that, I have my ways around things. Like for TCon, I'm a HUGE fan of no randomization. Sure, you can choose what you want, but you have 11 other players who might not choose the same thing as you! Another thing on CoD, I'm don't mind the MP40 sprayers. Why? I fight back with my Type 100 spray. And I win. =P. (Though thopse rifle nades and flamethrowers are still a pain...) In CoD, I HATE IT when people use the shadow glitch and walk around in Cliffside blasting away at your ass. If only people played the PRO way, no glitch and all skill. In TCon, whoever is better at "jumping, aiming, and shooting" at the same time is going to win. Since you can customize your button configurations, you can make things your own and make online play all the easier. Of course, might not be as much for your opponent... (Is that a +1 or -1?) But in CoD, all you have to do is get used to the CoD controls, which I have.
So I'm going to either buy a new game and keep them all, or return one and if I need to, use some of the moola in my wallet and pay for the rest to buy one of the tennis games.
It's up to YOU, Yahoo-ers, to help me out.
In the name of God, the Lord, Buddha, Jesus, Allah, WHATEVER, please help me out?! :'(.
-CoD for the Wii doesn't have Nazi zombies, but I don't give a flying fladoodle about that. So don't put that into mind when helping out please!
-If I made myself unclear, I want what I should RETURN, not keep.

Xbox 360 or PS3 for sports games
If your a sports gamer like me, especially into NHL and FIFA what would be a better console to get? I'm not really interested in adventure/gun games. I know a lot would say the 360 would be better, but I'm factoring in the FREE online play that comes with the PS3.
The reason I'm asking this is I purchased a Wii 2 years ago, and am not really happy with its games (NHL 2K9, FIFA 09.... PES 2009 was great).
So if your a sports gamer, what would you recommend?

My 40 year old boyfriends spends most of his free time on the xbox and online
Hi, my bf and myself (am in my late 30's) have recently relocated to the Caribbean. I love the beach and the outdoors, but he prefers to stay in and play on the xbox, browse the internet, watch TV, sports or fix his computer. He claims this is how he relaxes and gets annoyed when I ask him to play less. He can spend a whole weekend 'online' and I would go to the beach by myself. He says he is a city person and not much into the beach, but still agreed to move here with me (he is the only one with a job right now). I am getting fed up of doing things on my own (what's the point of being in a relationship?). We talk about marriage, children etc. but it terrifies me to think that he will be just the same. I asked him, if I were to give him an ultimatum 'me or the xbox' what he would choose. He says the xbox, because he cannot be with someone who dictates what he does for fun. He does have a lot of good parts as well and every now and then treats and spoils me (hence I am still with him), but I get desperate, annoyed and angry to see him play all the time and not wanting to make an effort to at least reduce his time online (I would have thought that the older you get the less you play these games?). Anyone out there with similar issues? Thanks for your advise.
