What video game would make for the best lessons on freedom
I'm a teacher and I'm designing some lessons around the concept of freedom. I'd like to teach this using a video game (preferably a free flash-based web game, but I could also try something that the students need to purchase and/or download).
I need a video game in which:
1) The students can have avatars that can take fairly varied actions. They should be able to walk around, talk to each other, and manipulate the environment in simple ways.
2) As the teacher, I can manipulate the total environment a little - set up situations in which they have to make choices. Essentially, I want to be the Dungeon master/Lawnmower man/God.
3) Preferably, an environment closed to the outside (maybe by invite only), so it's just me and my class in this virtual world.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Do Second Life or the Sims meet the above three criteria? Are there any web-based games/environments that might work?

Im having problems playing pogos operation mania
ive downloaded this game from pogo itself and tried to play the free version and it says i need a new version of adobe flash player so i went and i down loaded it and restarted my computer
and it still says that i need the new version all though i downloaded it
so i went out and bought the cd of the game in case the online download didn't work but the same thing happened....
what should i do???

i need to to play counter strike source please help me EMERGENCY
hey i have the huge mac cpu and i also installed the windows in it so you can use micrisoft word and play games there anyway when you turn the mac on you press options then it gives you the option to use either mac or windows the stupid thing is that the internet only works on mac not the windows and i was hoping to play counter strike source(please tell me a good link to download it free) and apparently you can't play it on mac so i was hoping to download it from mac then put the file in a flash restart computer the copy file then press on it will it work?
also my computer is wireless if you know why the internet isn't working windows don't hesitate to tell ;)
