how to play card games

BSOD on hp pavilion elite m9600t Please take a look
My specs are: CPU: Intel Core i7 920-2.66 GHz Ram: 6GB DDR3 Hard-drive: 500GB Western Digital Blue GPU: Nvidia Geforce 9600GS The BSOD says that a clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval. STOP: 0x00000101 ( 0x0000000000000019, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFFA6001B1E180, 0x0000000000000006 ) I have read some forums about different computers that also receive the 0x101 stop code. One forum said that it was a problem with the CPU and GPU or the memory and that after the motherboard was replaced on that computer, the BSOD stopped appearing here is the link, http://forums.amd.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=22&threadid=100894 Also, additional information: I receive the BSOD daily, it appears when first boot-up my computer. After the computer freezes, (sometimes the mouse pointer and sound stutter and it just freezes after that and other times i could move the mouse but the computer is frozen so i can't do anything except moving the mouse around the screen) the first time of the day, it won't freeze again until after I shutdown at night and boot-up the next day. One other thing, that convinces me that its a problem with the GPU and the motherboard or the CPU, when i boot-up the first time of the day and play a game like empire total war or America's Army 3, after a few minutes of being in the game, the mouse and sound stutter and that's when I know the computer is going to freeze. I have tried exiting the game several times to the windows vista desktop screen and oddly enough, the mouse and sound returned to normal. This has worked several times and after I reopened the game, most of the time it didn't freeze again until the next day. Please, give any suggestions or answers to this problem. A lot of people with this hp model have been experiencing BSODs almost daily too. I just wish Hp could have tested its model before putting it on the market. Now, they won't even sell their model anymore. Covering this wide issue up won't solve it. Anyways, please give a suggestion to this problem, should I replace the motherboard? Graphics card? Thanks.

I have a Sony Vaio Laptop and I want to play The Sims 3 on it. I done the "Can you RUN IT?" test and it said my laptop failed to meet the minimum requirements I needed to play the game! I failed on 3 things - 1.
